{"id":17609,"date":"2025-06-16T15:39:57","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T21:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.oirsa.org\/?p=17609"},"modified":"2025-06-23T15:43:15","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T21:43:15","slug":"ciencia-en-accion-ops-fao-cclac-iica-y-oirsa-destacan-innovacion-y-evidencia-cientifica-en-prevencion-de-enfermedades-transmitidas-por-alimentos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.oirsa.org\/en\/archivos\/17609","title":{"rendered":"\u201cCiencia en Acci\u00f3n\u201d: OPS, FAO, CCLAC, IICA y OIRSA destacan innovaci\u00f3n y evidencia cient\u00edfica para prevenir\u00a0ETA\u00b4s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con el objetivo de socializar y promover la importancia de la inocuidad de los alimentos y la responsabilidad de los actores a lo largo de la cadena alimentaria, destacando el rol de la ciencia como base para la toma de decisiones, se realiz\u00f3 el seminario online regional <strong>Ciencia en Acci\u00f3n<\/strong>, en el marco de la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Mundial de la Inocuidad de los Alimentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El encuentro reuni\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 600 asistentes interesados en conocer las experiencias de destacados expositores de diversos sectores (gubernamental, acad\u00e9mico, t\u00e9cnico y privado) de Brasil, Chile, Guatemala, M\u00e9xico y la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana -junto con organismos multilaterales de la regi\u00f3n- en un espacio de di\u00e1logo y aprendizaje sobre buenas pr\u00e1cticas, innovaci\u00f3n y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas basadas en evidencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"D\u00eda mundial de la Inocuidad de los Alimentos\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IcrhozdM5b8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El evento fue inaugurado por el economista jefe de la FAO y representante regional para Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe a.i., M\u00e1ximo Torero; el director del Centro Panamericano de Fiebre Aftosa y Salud P\u00fablica Veterinaria (PANAFTOSA) de la OPS, Ottorino Cosivi; el presidente del Comit\u00e9 Coordinador FAO\/OMS para Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe (CCLAC) encabezado por Uruguay, Leonardo Veiga; el gerente del Programa Sanidad Agropecuaria, Inocuidad y Calidad de los Agroalimentos del Instituto Interamericano de Cooperaci\u00f3n para la Agricultura (IICA), Jos\u00e9 Urdaz; y el director ejecutivo del Organismo Internacional Regional de Sanidad Agropecuaria (OIRSA), Ra\u00fal Rodas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ciencia en Acci\u00f3n al servicio de la Inocuidad Alimentaria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0El seminario present\u00f3 experiencias innovadoras como la propuesta de OIRSA, <em>Arena de simulaci\u00f3n virtual para inspecci\u00f3n en inocuidad de los alimentos<\/em>, que aplica inteligencia artificial y realidad aumentada en la capacitaci\u00f3n sobre procedimientos preventivos y alertas ante amenazas.
